13 September 2016

Aceit are proud to be a finalist in the prestigious Premier’s NSW Export Awards for 2016. The Wollongong-based apparel manufacturer has been selected as a finalist for the Illawarra exporter category.

The nomination is a major coup for the business, whose name is now listed alongside some of Australia’s top exporters, including University of Wollongong Enterprises – another finalist for the Illawarra Exporter Award.

Aceit, an Illawarra born and bred company exports high performance team uniforms to the United Kingdom, South Africa and Europe since 2008. Over 120 lawn bowls clubs and counties across the United Kingdom now wear Aceit sportswear. In May 2016, Aceit was announced as Bowls England’s first official clothing partner.

Gino Arcella, Managing Director of Aceit, said: “Aceit has grown internationally due to developing not only innovative products in a niche sport, but also developing merchandise solutions. This award recognises the hard work of our team here in the Illawarra and in the United Kingdom, who have all played a role in the success of the Aceit brand.”

The nomination coincides with the end of a month-long merchandise event in England. Aceit designed, manufactured and managed the merchandise for the 2016 Bowls England National Championships at Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
